World Mental Health Day – 10th October

World Mental Health Day, is observed every year on October 10th, is a global initiative aimed at raising awareness about mental health issues and supporting mental well-being. In a world where stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions impact millions of people it’s never been more important to care for our mental well-being.  Here’s some tips how:

  1. Practice Mindfulness: Engage in mindfulness exercises to stay present and reduce stress.
  2. Exercise Regularly: Physical activity releases endorphins, which can improve your mood.
  3. Connect with Others: Maintain social connections, even if it’s through virtual means.
  4. Seek Professional Help: If needed, don’t hesitate to consult a mental health professional.

It’s also important to break the stigma, on World Mental Health day there’s no better time to promote and have open conversations about mental health, this is both at home and work.
