Case study
One of our clients needed to investigate one of their Directors for an alleged act of gross misconduct. The matter was sensitive and highly confidential. They could not conduct the investigation themselves as they had been involved with some of the earlier, informal stages of the process and so they were not impartial. They wanted someone completely unbiased and professional to go into their business and investigate this matter.
Peach reacted extremely quickly, understanding the importance of concluding an investigation without unnecessary delay, due to the pressure that would have been felt by the Director under investigation. The client had the choice as to whether they wanted Peach to purely investigate and present the facts ascertained during their investigation, or whether they wanted Peach to recommend an outcome, in line with their disciplinary policy and procedure (i.e. no further action based on lack of evidence, or that there was a case to answer in a formal disciplinary hearing).
Peach completed the investigation quickly and efficiently, keeping the client regularly updated on the progress, without disclosing the details of the investigation to ensure the process remained objective.
