We went down to the Cash for Kids: Mission Christmas HQ, put our hi-vis’s on and helped assemble boxes, unpack donated gifts and pick gifts for orders!
Mission Christmas is a charity initiative which helps make sure children living in poverty in Greater Manchester wake up to something to open on Christmas Day.
1 in 3 children are currently living in poverty in Greater Manchester, according to the End Child Poverty statistics that came out in July.
Mission Christmas will not end child poverty, but it WILL make Christmas day different for the thousands of children who otherwise could wake up to nothing.
