Businesses given more time to prepare for off-payroll rules

The HMRC have made an announcement today that the off-payroll working rules will only apply to payments made for services provided on or after 6 April 2020.

This is ahead of the Governments review to be published into the implementation of the changes to the off-payroll working rules by the end of February 2020.

There were concerns raised by businesses over what payments the rules apply to and when. This is now clear for businesses thus, giving them more time to prepare for a smoother transition.
