April is stress awareness month, what can you do to help!

76% of employees are said to be stressed.

 

When you have happy, healthy employees they are more likely to be engaged in their work.

 

It’s hard to totally eliminate stressful situations but you can help by spotting the signs:

 

  1. Change in behavior – people can get aggressive, they can go quiet, skip lunch, or start staying late.
  2. Change in physical appearance – they can gain or lose weight or can lose care in their appearance.
  3. Health challenges – increased sickness for tummy upsets, migraine, or back pain

 

Being supportive in the workplace and spotting these changes plays a huge part in helping to manage stress at work.

Ensure your workplace is psychologically safe and a place where employees can speak out.
